Third Party Services
This plugin connects to the UnlockPage payment verification service to verify user payment status before unlocking content.
External Service: UnlockPage API (https://api.unlockpage.com)
Purpose: Verify that users have paid for content access through the UnlockPage payment verification system
Data Transmitted:
* Page URL (to verify which content is being accessed)
* Authentication proof token (from UnlockPage)
When Data is Sent: When a reader attempts to unlock paywalled content

This external service is required for the core functionality of the plugin. Without connection to the UnlockPage API, the plugin cannot verify payments or unlock content.
Installation
- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/unlockpagedirectory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
- Navigate to UnlockPage in the WordPress admin menu
- Add your website in the UnlockPage dashboard at https://unlockpage.com/
- Copy the verification token and signing token, then paste it in the plugin settings
- Click « Save Token » and verify your domain in the UnlockPage dashboard
