SeatReg is a plugin that offers the following and more to build and manage online registrations.

Map builder helps you design your registration scheme. Create, delete, resize, move around, add price, add custom legends, add custom seat numbers, add hover text and change color of your seats. Add custom text to seat map.
Each registration can have as many seats and rooms you wish.
With manager you keep an eye on your bookings. You can view, search, remove, confirm, change, add and download (PDF, XLSX, text) them.
Get an overview of your registrations. See how many open, approved or pending bookings you have.
Many settings to control the booking flow. For example you can create custom fields that allow customers to enter extra data.
Email templates.
Calendar mode
Scrollable and resizable registration view that can be provided to people via direct link or by inserting it to your website pages via shortcode (example of shortcode: [seatreg code=d0ca254995]).
Paypal and Stripe payments support.

Installation

Install SeatReg either via the WordPress.org plugin directory, or by uploading the files to your server.
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.

With this plugin, you can easily make entirely original booking system of any seating type like concert hall, restaurant, conference room, etc. How to making seat map is very simple, only you have to do is to put seats into any place in the grid. A part of functions are a little under developing and there is room for improvement. But the developer is very open and super-reactive for hearing the user's voices in the WordPress.org Forums. He always responds very quickly and fix the problem immediately. Through some speedy improvements by the developer, this plugin will be super-useful and powerful one in the near future.

Customizable and easy to use, Best seat booking plugin. The best thing is it is free! The plugin author also willing to help and make updates to the plugin based on the question on the support forum. Love this so much 😀

If you want to achieve a system to book seats directly on a map, I think this is the best one (and it's also open source!). The developer is very active, and solved my issue in one day! It's also open to ideas and proposals!

This plugin is very easy to setup and very easy to work with. It has a great map editor that allows you to set up your own seat maps for any venue you can imagine. You have a map that does not really fit into a regular grid? Don't worry, this plugin can handle this. It might need a bit of extra work but you can actually place every seat whereever you like! It also works for large venues: You can setup a virtual grid that allows you to align a large number of seats very quickly. Bulk updates, e.g. for the pricing? No problem: Just select the affected seats with the lasso tool and update the prices with just a couple of mouse clicks. Dont worry about performance: I used this tool for a crowdfunding project for an animal sanctionary. The idea was to fundraise money for a new area that the sanctionary wants to buy. So instead of seats booking, i use this plugin for fundraising. I created a map with 3000 tiles and i to not see any performance issues. Need an individual background, maybe a screenshot from google maps? No problem, just upload your background image as a PNG, JPG or any other common format. Since the plugin supports direct integration for PayPal and Stripe, it is quite easy to setup your payment gateway.
