jQuery Latest News Ticker is a WordPress version of a flexible and easy to configure news ticker rotator plguin. The original version was developed by rhodimus and can be found at http://www.jquerynewsticker.com/.

1. jQuery News Ticker – This is the jQuery news ticker which was developed by rhodimus (https://github.com/rhodimus) which can be found at http://www.jquerynewsticker.com/.
I have just tried to convert this jQuery News Ticker to WordPress version.
2. Ditty News Ticker – Ditty News Ticker is a multi-functional data display plugin. The plugin can be found at https://wordpress.org/plugins/ditty-news-ticker/ which was developed by metaphorcreations (https://profiles.wordpress.org/metaphorcreations/).
Some of the codes from Ditty News Ticker helped to develop this project.
And last but not the least Custom Post Type Helper Class tutorial which can be found at http://wp.tutsplus.com/tutorials/creative-coding/custom-post-type-helper-class/. This tutorial helped a lot in developing this project.

Installation
From your WordPress dashboard
- Visit Plugins > Add New
- Search for jQuery Latest News Ticker
- Activate jQuery Latest News Ticker from your Plugins page.
- Visit jQuery Latest News Ticker > Add New and create some news ticks. You can also adjust settings from there.
- Publish your News Ticker.
- After all the things done copy the short code from the right side and paste it within your post.
From WordPress.org
- Download jQuery Latest News Ticker.
- Upload the jQuery-latest-news-ticker directory to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory, using your favorite method (ftp, sftp, scp, etc…)
- Activate jQuery Latest News Ticker from your Plugins page.
- Visit jQuery Latest News Ticker > Add New and create some news ticks. You can also adjust settings from there.
- Publish your News Ticker.
- After all the things done copy the short code from the right side and paste it within your post.
